World War II Weekend

The Museum of American Armor and the Long Island Living History Association, in cooperation with the Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Museums will host a combined tribute to our nation’s military heritage with the presentation of World War II Weekend and Military Timeline on Saturday, June 13th and Sunday, June 14th, at Old Bethpage Village Restoration.

Among the activities and exhibits will be a parade featuring operational World War II tanks, armored cars, half-tracks, and replica enemy vehicles. Escorted by “Doughboys”” of that era, the Armor Museum will also unveil a replica World War I tank that revolutionized tactics on the battlefield over one hundred years ago.
