Established in 1924 by Peter Meyer, Sr., today it remains a staple of the community and a vital agricultural presence on an 8.5-acre plot, thanks to preservation efforts funded by Nassau County’s Environmental Bond Program in 2004, ensuring the land remains dedicated to agriculture for future generations. Jericho Cider Mill: A Taste of History

Established in the early 1800s, this historic mill has been delighting visitors with its fresh-pressed cider for over 200 years. The mill operates in a two-story white barn where over 40,000 gallons of cider are pressed annually from the finest New York State apples.
